Kravice waterfalls and Mostar in one day
A day inland in Herzegovina with two very different stops: a wide half-circle of waterfalls you can swim under in summer, and the old town of Mostar around its bridge.
It is a long day, so we keep the stops tight and the breaks regular.

The plan
Kravice
The Trebižat river falls over a long curve of rock into a green pool. In summer many people swim; in spring the falls are fuller and the place is quieter.
Mostar
Walk over the Old Bridge, through the bazaar, and have lunch. With luck you will see one of the divers jump.
The Neretva valley
The way back follows the river down to the coast.
Good to know
Everyone needs a passport or ID card for the border. Kravice has an entrance fee, paid there. If you plan to swim, bring swimwear and shoes for wet stones.
