To Split, with a swim at Makarska
Halfway to Split the road runs along the Makarska Riviera, a string of pebble beaches with the bare wall of Biokovo right behind. On a summer day it is hard to drive past.
We stop in Makarska if you want cafés and a promenade, or in Brela if you want a quieter beach under the pines.

Makarska or Brela
Makarska has a harbour, a long seafront and plenty of places to eat. Brela is smaller, with clear water and pine shade. Two to three hours covers a swim and lunch.
Split
Around an hour more along the coast to your address or the ferry port.
Good to know
Pack swimwear and a towel in a small bag so the suitcases stay closed. Tell us when you need to be in Split and we shorten or stretch the stop.
