From Cavtat to Kotor
Cavtat is only about half an hour from the Montenegrin border, so Kotor is closer to us than people expect. After the border at Debeli Brijeg the road drops to Herceg Novi and then follows the Bay of Kotor to the old town at its far end.
We drive from Cavtat, Konavle or Dubrovnik to your accommodation in Kotor, and back again when you leave.

The border
Montenegro is not in the European Union, so passports or ID cards are checked on both sides. In summer the queue can be long, especially late in the morning. We plan the time with that in mind.
Questions about this ride
Which documents do we need?
A valid passport or ID card for everyone in the car, children too. EU citizens can usually travel on an ID card; others should check the entry rules for their country before the trip.
Can we stop in Perast?
Yes. It is right on the way. Mention it, or look at our transfer to Budva via Perast and Kotor.
